Thomas Adam Babington Boulton is a well-known British broadcaster and journalist. He was a former Sky News editor-at-large and host of All Out Politics and Week In Review. Adam is also a former Sky News political editor. He is currently based in the Westminister studios of Sky News in Central London.
He previously worked as the political editor of TV-am, an ITV early-morning television franchise. He has held the role since 1989, after being invited to build its political team for the channel’s launch. He previously hosted Sky News’ Sunday Live alongside Adam Boulton. Boulton and Co. was a regular daily news and political program on Sky News from 2011 to 2014.

He began his career with IPS News and the BBC. Boulton was employed as a journalist in the parliamentary lobby before to joining Sky News. He was recruited to form the political unit for the debut of Sky News in 1989. As a result, he began a long term as the news channel’s political editor. Adam received the Royal Television Society’s Supreme Judge’s Award and was elected chairman of the parliament lobby in 2007. On June 15, 2008, he had the honor of becoming the first British television reporter to conduct a joint interview with US President George W. Bush and his wife Laura.
He was also based in Washington D.C. from January 2009 to cover the first 100 days of Barack Obama’s presidency for Sky News. On April 22, 2010, he hosted Sky News’ leaders’ discussion live from Bristol during the UK general election campaign. That same year, while reporting events in the aftermath of the general election on May 10, 2010, he lost his cool with former 10 Downing Street Director of Communications Alastair Campbell.
