She later began her career as a weekend forecaster at St. George, Utah. She has also forecasted along the red rocks since she had fallen in love with the southern portion of their state. While she was in the desert, She mostly covered Washington County’s extreme heat and headed up a crime series, The Tri-State Crime Stoppers. Luckily, this made her earn a Community Partnership Award from the Washington City Police.

On her free time, she enjoys skiing and flies fishing, spending time with family, supporting Special Olympics, cheering Gonzaga basketball and Chicago Blackhawks hockey, walking with her two dogs, Teddy and Radar.
