Amber was diagnosed with cancer in 2016, eight months after starting employment at The Ticket. She was 32 years old when she learned she had breast cancer. She had a double mastectomy and other surgery to be cured. She is, however, cancer-free now.

Her broadcasting career began in 2007, after she graduated from the University of Florida and joined CBS Interactive. She worked as a sports announcer at the station, hosting eight various shows that included significant coverage of the MLB, NBA, NHL, Nascar, NFL, and NCAA. She spent two years with the station, doing comprehensive interviews with league experts and professional sportsmen. Amber also worked as a sports presenter for Open Sports from 2008 until 2009.

In addition, she joined SNY Network and hosted the famous sports trivia show “Beer Money” in New York City. While pursuing her Juris Doctorate, she worked as an On-Camera Corporate Host for Carnival Cruise Lines for a year. She also co-hosted “The Players Club,” a CBS Network television show that featured twelve former all-star MLB players in a totally unscripted manner. She also spent a month as a guest host on 790 The Ticket, Miami’s leading sports radio station.

She spent five months as a Law Clerk at Wolfe Law Miami, where she produced contracts, complaints, responses, and demand letters. She worked as an in-house law clerk for the Miami Dolphins and Sun Life Stadium after getting her J.D. She eventually worked as an Associate Attorney at Wolfe Law Miami and later moved to CBS4, WFOR as the TV host of Sports Bang for nearly three years.
