He is also the co-analyst on SiriusXM NBA Radio. Before joining the Pelicans, Daniels was working for the Oklahoma City Thunder games as a Fox Sports analyst.

During his career as a basketball player, Daniels has played for several teams including San Antonio Spurs(1998-2002), Portland Trail Blazers(2002-2003), Vancouver Grizzlies(1997-1998), Seattle SuperSonics(2003-2005), New Orleans Hornets(2008-2009), Washington Wizards(2005-2008), Philadelphia 76ers(2011), Texas Legends(2011), etc.

While playing for the Spurs, He helped the Spurs win an NBA championship in 1999. However, Daniels along with his Charles Smith and Spurs Teammates Amal McCaskill was traded in exchange for Erick Barkley to the Portland Trail Blazers.
