From 1987 to 1998, Ripken played in Major League Baseball (MLB). From 1987 to 1992, Bill played for the Baltimore Orioles, and in 1996, he played for Texas Rangers from 1993 to 94, and in 1997. Also, in 1995, He played for Cleveland Indians and Detroit Tigers in 1998.
In 1987, Ripken reached the MLB and he created the first situation in baseball history on the same team since his brother played for the Orioles and Cal Ripken Sr that father had managed two sons ., and managed the team.
