Brant Boyer is a retired American football linebacker and a coach who is currently working for the New York Jets as the special teams coordinator in the National Football League (NFL). After Brant played his recruit season as a sixth-round draft choice of the Miami Dolphins he was drafted in the 1995 NFL Expansion Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Brant spent three seasons as a member of the Cleveland Browns after five seasons with the Jaguars. Presently Brant is serving for the New York Jets as the special teams coach. Before that, Brant worked for the Indianapolis Colts as the assistant special teams coach.

The Miami Dolphins drafted Brant in the 6th round of the 1994 NFL Draft of the National Football League (NFL). Brant played for the Dolphins in fourteen games and recorded two total tackles. Brant was assigned to the Jacksonville Jaguars for the 1995 NFL Expansion Draft in 1995.

The Jaguars resigned Brant on March 30, 1997. Brant suffered a neck injury in 1998 in a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers and on December 1, 1998, he was placed on injured reserve. Brant played in 69 games while beginning seven of them in six seasons with the Jaguars. During his period with the team, he recorded 114 tackles and 10 sacks.

The Cleveland Browns signed Brant in 2001. The browns re-signed Brant on February 19, 2004, to a four-year deal worth around $4.2 million. Brant was placed on injured reserve on August 30, 2004, which completed his 2004 campaign and afterward his career. Brant played in 47 games and began ten in four seasons with the Browns, the most of which came in 2003. Brant recorded thirteen tackles for loss and 207 total tackles.
