Carmen Dominicci is a journalist, travel blogger, and news anchor from the United States. In her journalism career, she has received five Emmy Awards. Carmen was named one of the “50 Most Beautiful” by People en Espaol magazine in 2010.

In the late 1980s, she began her career in journalism by appearing in television commercials. Carmen competed in various beauty pageants as well as international modeling competitions in the United States and Europe. The journalist began her career in television with theatrical plays and later with television miniseries.

Carmen, on the other hand, abandoned that path in order to devote her full attention to her journalism studies. Because of her work on the Tele-Once Channel, the journalist became one of Puerto Rico’s most well-known news reporters in the 1990s. She later worked as a newscaster for WAPA-TV during prime time.

Carmen loves to travel the world and this led to her making a complete change in her career. In December 2015, she began her own travel blog, “Carmen Dominicci Trotamundos,” after leaving Telemundo. “Travel the world through my eyes,” the blog’s motto, inspired its creation.

Before launching the blog, she worked for 23 years reporting hard news. In 1998, she signed a contract with Telemundo 47, New York to work as a news anchor.

She held this role for a period of four years. During this period, she covered important events including the inauguration of President George Bush, President Bill Clinton’s impeachment trial, and the 9-11 attacks on the Twin Towers, to mention but a few.

She was re-employed by Telemundo as one of the main faces of the “Telemundo News” team in one of the best stages of the network. She became a co-host and correspondent for the “Al Rojo Vivo” news program, in 2011.  Also, she joined the special investigative team of Noticias Telemundo. In addittion, she interviewed many renowned personalities including the soccer star David Beckham. She left Telemundo in December 2015.
