In addition, for the coverage of his own story, Chauncy’s Journey, which was featuring his reunion with his family in his hometown, after they experienced the devastating tornadoes, it won him several awards.

Previously, he worked in Detroit, Michigan from December 2011 as a Fill-in anchor/reporter at WDIV, during his tenure there he covered several stories such as the freeing of three women held in captivity for 10 years, an unforgettable story of two students who were shot by their coach after trying to rob him and the Sandy Hook Massacre in Newton.
