Chris Ship is a popular English journalist and presenter currently working for ITV News as a Royal Editor since March 2017. Ship joined ITV News in 2000 as a news correspondent and later served for ITV News as a deputy political editor.

He is the host of The Royal Rota, the ITV News podcast about the Royal Family. Before joining ITV News, Ship served at ITN as Independent radio news and a newsreader at Wave 105.

Chris was appointed senior political correspondent for the ITN-produced service in 2008 – promoted from a political correspondent, as part of a reshuffle of ITV’s political team.  In 2000, He joined ITV News as a news correspondent and later served for ITV News as a deputy political editor. Since early 2009, He has been a presenter of ITV Weekend News.
