He originates from San Diego, he began his journalism career as a host/reporter for his high school’s television news program. As a sophomore, he interned at KUSI-TV in San Diego.
While at KUSI-TV, Hoggard did “just about everything” from being a Production Assistant to Master Control Operator to Sports Producer to on-air host for the station’s PPR Plus web-streamed football program. His contributions helped KUSI earn many Emmy Awards for the Prep Pigskin Report.
In addition, He landed a job as an anchor/reporter for the launch of One America News in 2013. During his tenure at OAN, Dejuan anchored the “Early Edition” of One America News. He also covered national politics, the San Bernardino shootings, and many other breaking news stories.
