The Today in Florida co-anchor was born in Nicaragua and raised in Miami, where she graduated first in her class from Coral Gables Senior High School and was a member of the National Champion dance team, the Gablettes. She also cheered for the Gators while at the University of Florida, where she was a member of the Dazzler dance team and served as Vice President.
He began her career at WUFT-TV in Gainesville and got the Community Broadcasters Association’s “Best Newscast Award” while anchoring at WWCI-TV in Vero Beach. She was overjoyed when she was hired as a reporter for 7 News, where she covered breaking local news and traveled across the country and internationally for major national and international stories.
