The four-hour program aired Monday through Friday from noon to 4 p.m. local time. He stated on January 27 that he would be a regular on the Good Day Sacramento television show. On February 14, 2011, he made his first appearance. On May 9, 2011, he revealed that his contract with CBS had been extended until 2014, and he was later named Program Director for 1140 The Fan KHTK.
Following the departure of “Rise Guys” for a concert in San Francisco on July 11, 2011, his show was switched to the morning commute, 5:30-10 a.m. local time. He later ceased his in-studio appearance on Good Day Sacramento. He currently contributes to GDS remotely via the camera on occasion. On July 8, 2013, his show was moved to KHTK’s midday slot and can now be heard from noon to 3:00 p.m. local time. The Don Geronimo Show was replaced by the Jason Ross Show on CBS Sports Radio 1140 KHTK on Friday, October 4, 2013.
On October 16, 2013, he went to KHTK in Sacramento to thank everyone who helped him during his stay there. On October 23, he came on 106.7 The Fan’s Lavar and Dukes show to announce his return to the station after a five-year hiatus. He announced that he will be available weekdays from 7 to 10 p.m. local time, Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon local time, and during Washington Redskins pre/post-game broadcasts.
