During the 1999–2000 season, He joined Phoenix Suns where he reunited with his former Washington Bullets teammates Tom Gugliotta, Rex Chapman, and Scott Skiles. However, his career as a professional basketball player after the NBA suspended him for testing positive for steroids ended in November 2000.
