Then she worked as the co-anchor of the “FirstNews” show in Kansas City at KMBC-TV.
For her work as a reporter, she received The Kansas City Press Club, also for a report they covered on a Vietnam Veteran whose rehabilitation ended up helping hundreds of others who were greatly affected by war, together with Tim Twyman who worked as a photojournalist, they received a Silver Award.
