The Cleveland Cavaliers selected Donny in the first round of the 1995 NBA Draft. He was a member of the Cavaliers from 1995 to 1997 before joining the Connecticut Pride in 1999. From 1999 to 2001, he was a member of the Connecticut Pride of the Continental Basketball Association. In addition, he was named to the All-CBA Second Team in 2000. From 2001 to 2003, he also participated with the New Jersey Nets.
He is currently a FOX Sports NCAA basketball television analyst. Since 2014, he has provided analysis for WestwoodOne national radio broadcasts of the men’s NCAA championship basketball tournament.
