Clark is an Emmy Award-winning journalist who has spent more than two decades at KSBW 8. Erin came to KSBW from Vermont, where she attended the University of Vermont and began her career as a general assignment reporter at Hearst Television Inc’s sister station WPTZ-TV before being elevated to anchor.
Clark came west in January 1998, taking over for Dina Eastwood, who was retiring, and anchoring alongside Dan Green. Clark was born in Washington, DC, where her father worked as a congressman’s physician. Her and Dan Green were born in the same hospital in Washington, DC, and were delivered by the same doctor that delivered John F. Kennedy, Jr.
Erin was born in the nation’s capital, but she grew up outside of Chicago, attending Glenbard West High School before moving to California for college. Clark has covered numerous major news and events throughout her two decades with KSBW 8, including wildfires, a royal visit, the Climate Change Summit, political rallies for presidential candidates, Big Sur marathons, and three US Open golf tournaments.
She is also the primary force behind the Health Watch 8 franchise at the station. Clark is dedicated to helping people make the healthy option by reporting about medical discoveries, healthy living, diet, and exercise.
