In 2018 Evan was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Giants. Evan made the Giants final roster though during his rookie season, he was inactive for every game. The Giants waived him on August 31, 2019, and the next day he was signed to the practice squad. On November 9, 2019, Evan was promoted to the active roster,[5] though two days later he was waived prior to being re-signed to the practice squad.

The Miami Dolphins signed him off the Giants practice squad on December 4, 2019. On March 18, 2020, Evan was released. The Cleveland Browns signed him on March 26, 2020. Evan played in a total of five games with 17 special teams snaps played and on November 5, 2020, he was waived. On November 7, 2020, Evan was re-signed to the Browns’ practice squad and afterward released once more on November 10, 2020.

Evan was signed to the Detroit Lions’ practice squad on December 4, 2020. On December 25 Evan was elevated to the active roster and reverted to the practice squad after each game. On January 5, 2021, Evan signed a reserve/future contract.
