She was an anchor on CBS 5 This Morning and CBS 5 at Noon during the week. Farah has been a journalist in the Central New York area for over ten years. She quickly became immersed in the community as a reporter and as a city resident before moving to Syracuse to pursue her master’s degree in journalism at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
While attending graduate school, she worked as an editor for Eagle Newspapers. Farah was reported in Syracuse’s northern suburbs as well as Madison County. She assisted in the launch of Syracuse Woman Magazine in 2011, the area’s first and only award-winning women’s publication.
