Every Monday through Friday from 7-11 a.m., Buckley hosts KTLA’s signature show, L.A.’s No. 1 rated KTLA 5 Morning News. He also hosts and produces a weekly television program. Buckley also co-hosts Inside California Politics, which airs on weekends on KTLA and other Nexstar stations.
Buckley came to KTLA in 2005 after working as a national correspondent for CNN. He has won several awards, including Emmys for hard news reporting, special news coverage of the Hong Kong handover, and entertainment programming for co-hosting KTLA’s Rose Parade press show.
The Los Angeles Press Club has also honored him with awards, including best documentary for KTLA’s “When Disaster Strikes: A Survival Guide” and best talk/public relations for “Access L.A.” APTRA Awards, including reporter of the year, are among his other accolades from the Associated Press Television-Radio Association.
