Boll currently works as a news anchor and reporter at WBTV. He officially joined the station in March 2005 as an anchor and an investigative reporter for the 5:30 pm newscasts. He later became the co-anchor when the station launched a 4 pm newscast. Moreover, Jamie continued that position when the station launched another new newscast called On Your Side Tonight in April 2018.
In January 2019, Jamie was appointed co-anchor of WBTV News at 5 pm and 6 pm along with Maureen O’Boyle. Apart from On Your Side Tonight, Jamie now does the two other newscasts.
