Jerry Augustine is a former professional baseball pitcher from the United States. He currently works as a studio commentator for the Milwaukee Brewers on Fox Sports Wisconsin. He played for the Milwaukee Brewers in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1975 to 1984. The Brewers’ left-handed pitcher played high school, college, and professional baseball in his home state.
He then became an NCAA Division 1 baseball coach (University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee). In 1976, Jerry was chosen to the Topps All-Star Rookie Team. Jerry previously worked as a baseball coach for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panthers. His nephew, James Augustine, was a professional basketball player with the Orlando Magic.

When he joined the Big Show Radio Network in December 2021, he discussed some of the decisions Crew and David Stearns had taken before the lockout. Jerry was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 15th round of the 1974 MLB June Amateur Draft from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (La Crosse, WI).
He was a standout athlete in baseball, football, and basketball at Kewaunee High School. Dale Koehler, who played basketball at the University of Wisconsin, and Jack Novak, an NFL player, were among of his high school contemporaries.
