Raineri is an award-winning meteorologist and reporter who has spent his career covering the Pacific Northwest. After working at KIRO-TV in Seattle, where he projected convergence zone weather anomalies and an avalanche of rain, he returned to Portland.
Prior to moving to Seattle, Ranieri worked as a meteorologist and reporter in Portland for nearly a decade, covering everything from snowstorms to flooding and tornadoes. He is an avid sports lover and has previously worked as a sports anchor.
He has covered the Portland Trail Blazers, Timbers matches, and numerous Civil War games between his Beavers and the Ducks. The 2008 USA Olympic Trials at Hayward Field in Eugene were the most memorable sporting event he’d ever covered.
