Jose Diaz Balart is an eminent American journalist and television anchorman currently working for a new 10 A.M. show known as Jose Diaz Balart Reports on MSNBC as an anchor. Diaz stepped down from his previous role as an anchor for Noticia Telemundo, weeknight editions on September 7, 2021.

Jose started serving for MSNBC as a replacement for Brewer on “MSNBC Live” in the show’s 12 p.m. slot for the week of June 20 through 24, 2011. On November 10, 2014, it was announced that Diaz would be taking over “The Daily Rundown” hosting duties on November 17, 2014.
