Chapin spent more than three years reporting in the most populous city in Texas, covering a range of stories including the devastation and humanitarian response to Hurricane Harvey.
Josh was born and raised in New York City where he still has a family. But he’s no stranger to North Carolina-Sosh graduated cum laude from Duke University in 2009 with a minor in media policy. He further interned at another station in the Raleigh Durham market.
He started his career in television news at News 12 The Bronx and Brooklyn starting as a desk assistant and finishing his time there as the station’s weekend anchor and lead reporter.
