Kenny is a music, entertainment, television, radio, fashion, and marketing entrepreneur, producer, and author with over two decades of experience. He was an on-air host from 2011 to 2013. During his early career, he collaborated with artists such as Monica and Jay-Z. Dream, his first music concept, was the only female Pop group to debut at No. 2 on the Billboard charts.
As an executive for Mariah Carey’s Monarch Music, he continued to achieve platinum success. He signed international music superstar Akon and discovered Wale, a fellow Washingtonian hip-hop artist. Later he rose through the ranks to become Vice President of the legendary hip-hop music label Roc-A-Fella Records. His current show airs every day from 2 to 6 p.m.
Before joining Jay-Roc-A-Fella Z’s Records, he worked as a promoter in Atlanta. While there, Kenny helped promote Axe Body Spray’s brand. He was one of the first investors and the Nearest’s biggest advocate. In 2018, he joined Uncle Nearest CEO Fawn Weaver in expanding on the brand’s little-known history.
