Larrell’s collegiate career commenced at Louisburg College. Larrell was named an honorable mention Junior College All-American and had 5.5 sacks, 41 tackles, and 17.5 tackles for loss as a sophomore. Larrell committed to shift to Ole Miss after rejecting offers from Texas and Georgia and thereafter late in the recruiting process Larrell flipped his commitment to North Carolina State.

Larrell redshirted his first season with the Wolfpack. While Larrell was going into his senior season, he became a starter at defensive tackle and completed the year with four sacks, 34 tackles, and eight tackles for loss. Larrell recorded two fumble recoveries, two passes defended, seven sacks, 12 tackles for loss, and 48 total tackles in his final season.

The Tennessee Titans drafted Larrell with the 174th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. The Titans signed Larrell to a four-year deal on May 13, 2020, and he evolved as the first of the Titans 2020 draft class to sign a recruiting contract. Against the Jacksonville Jaguars on September 20, Larrell made his NFL debut, in 2020 and made one tackle.

In Week 3 Larrell suffered an elbow injury and was put on injured reserve on October 1, 2021. On October 23 Larrell was activated. The Titans waived Larrell on August 30, 2022, and the following day he was signed to the practice squad.
