She is well known for her incredible presence on tv and also for her amazing skills. She started her career in the media industry back in 1993. Mahealani began by serving as an intern at Joan Rivers Show. Later on, Mahealani served different channels including KGMB-TV. She became part of the Hawaii News Show team in 2017.

There, she currently anchors the channel’s 6 pm and 6:30 pm newscasts. She works as a voice for the voiceless in the community, she leads in digital journalism as well as broadcast. As of now, she works on the boards of Friends of Shriners and Ka Honua Momona on Molokai.
