Greenberg commenced his career at Chicago’s WMAQ-AM as a sports anchor. Before joining WSCR-Radio in 1992, he worked as a sports anchor and reporter for three years. He was also an anchor, reporter, and host of a live call-in show for SportsChannel Chicago in 1994 before going on to CLTV in 1995.
He then departed the channel to go for ESPN, where he was one of the initial anchors of ESPN NEWS when it first aired in November 1996. He began working for ESPN Radio in 1999 and has been a Sportscenter co-host since 2004. In January of the following year, he left the channel to join ESPN2. He departed the Mike and Mike program in 2017 and began working on ESPN’s new morning show Get Up in April 2018.
