Mike McConnell is a talk radio host currently working since 2014 in Cincinnati for WLW. Before joining WLW, Hw served from 2010 to 2013 in Chicago for WGN. Mcconnell launched his career in journalism under the name Alan McConnell as a radio host. In the 1970s, He served at an album-oriented college radio station as a rock music DJ for WVUD.
After working at the University Of Dayton for 5 years, He relocated Dayton to crosstown Album Rock WTUE. There, Mike used the name Mike McConnell because already being “Alan” on WTUE Alan Sells. He then moved to Cincinnati, from top 40 to rock to flip formats on KISS 96 in 1982 in Cincinnati. Mcconnell served there until 1983.
