Natalia Cooper Career
After being offered a cadetship at STW, she began her career in television in Perth in 2003. This happened after she graduated from university. Natalia worked as a fill-in news and weather presenter for Nine News Perth for five years. She delivered her first weather forecast when she was 19 years old. Natalia also delivered her first newscast at the age of 20.
Natalia spent six months traveling throughout the world at the end of 2008. She went on to work as a freelance journalist before relocating to London in 2009. Natalia returned to Perth after Jeff Newman retired to take over as Seven News weather presenter. She covered key news events in Western Australia while there.
There was a large whale stranding near Augusta, as well as an explosion aboard an asylum seeker boat off the North West coast in 2009. She remained a weather presenter till the end of 2012. Natalia subsequently moved to Sydney and began working as a presenter and correspondent on Nine News for the Nine Network.
