Oxlade’s real name Ikuforiji Abdulrahman Olaitan was born in Lagos State, Nigeria, on 22nd April 1997. Oxladewas raised by his grandma, having lost his mum at an early age. Like many other Nigerian singers, He started his musical journey in the church and became the junior choirmaster. His maternal uncles were not in support of him making secular music.
