He has served three times as Secretary-General of the Press Club of India. Due to financial irregularities totaling over one crore rupees, the Pres Club summoned a special general meeting in 2009 to disband the incumbent management team, which was chaired by Pushpendra.
He began on a voyage to free Jammu and Kashmir from the shackles that hampered its development and progress, using information from sacred writings such as the Geeta and the Quran.
