Ray Lucas is a retired American football quarterback from the National Football League. He played for the New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins, and New York Jets during his seven-year NFL career, which spanned from 1996 to 2002. He presently serves as a studio analyst for the Jets Nation program on the SportsNet New York sports network, which is situated in New York City.

He was a Jets analyst for SportsNet New York for several years, including pre-game and post-game shows. He also provided weekly updates before quitting the network in 2020. He joined the Rutgers Football Radio Network as a color analyst in 2019. He retained the position until 2021 when he took over as coach of his hometown high school football team.
