Rich Eisen is a well-known American television journalist at NFL Network currently hosting a daily sports radio show called The Rich Eisen Show, for Westwood One, which has video simulcasts at NBCSN and also Peacock, alongside replays on YouTube.
Previously, he served as the first staff writer for the Staten Island Advance from 1990 to 1993, and the Chicago Tribune from 1993 and 1994. Later, Rich worked as a sports anchor and reporter for KRCR-TV based in Redding, California, from 1994 to 1996, and also worked on television as the Medill News Service’s Washington correspondent in 1994.

In June 2003, he became the first on-air talent added to the NFL Network roster. He is the face of the 24-hour, seven-day-a-week cable and satellite channel dedicated to football that started in November 2003. Rich worked as the main host of the show, NFL Total Access, the network flagship program, up to August 2011.
In 2010, he signed a new long-term deal with NFL Network and was the new host of the first pregame show on the NFL Network called NFL GameDay Morning. In November 2012, his first Thanksgiving Special aired on the NFL Network with some celebrity guests talking mostly about sports and current events.
On October 6, 2014, Rich launched a new sports talk TV/radio show known as The Rich Eisen Show. This show is broadcast live from California Studios on Audience Network, NFL Now as well as DirecTV’s El Segundo. The show was picked up by Fox Sports Radio on November 3, 2014, and broadcast daily from noon-3 p.m. ET.
