Ryan Beesley is a renowned American meteorologist. As of now, he works as the weekend morning meteorologist for Fox 5 based in Atlanta. He joined the station’s weather team in march 2017.

He takes part in anchoring the weekend morning editions of Fox5 called Good Day Atlanta. During the weekend, he is featured on the show Good Day Atlanta which broadcasts at 10:am. He also works at the Fox5 news at Noon team.

While in Biloxi, he covered the Hattiesburg EF-4 tornado on February 10, 2013, as well as Hurricane Isaac in Louisiana in August 2012.

Then he moved to join WALB based in Albany, GA, before going to Knoxville, TN. Later, he went back home to Atlanta. Besides his role as an on-air meteorologist, he has covered more than 30 tornadoes, such as the tornado outbreak on April 27, 2011. When he’s not on air, he visits schools around north Georgia teaching students about weather and storm chasing and sharing stories about what it feels like to be a broadcast meteorologist.
