Sam Seder is an American progressive political commentator, actor, and media host. His works include Who’s the television shows Beat Cops, the Caboose, and Pilot Season

He also appeared in Next Stop Wonderland and made guest appearances on Sex and the City, America Undercover, Spin City, and Maron.

Since 2010, Seder hosts a daily political talk show, The Majority Report. He also serves on the animated comedy series Bob’s Burgers as the voice of Hugo, a recurring character. He has written for such television shows as Entourage, Friends,  and Two and a Half Men.

In March 2004, Seder alongside Janeane Garofalo became co-host of Air America Radio’s The Majority Report. On April 13, 2007, The Sam Show was canceled and replaced by WOR Radio Network’s late-night radio show host Lionel. He was relegated to a Sunday show entitled Sam on Sunday.

Lionel soon lost two-thirds of His live listenership and affiliates.  On June 1, 2008, The final Sam on Sunday was broadcast. In November 2009, Seder served for NBC of an American version of Have I Got News for You as a host of a pilot.

In November 2012, Three years later, it was announced Sam would again be the host of an American version of the show, this time on TBS. In November 2010, He started an independent online podcast, also called The Sam Channel. Seder via the crowdfunding platform Patreon offers listeners different tiered levels of access to content around the show.
