In 2009, she landed a job opportunity at the FOX broadcasting group WTVT in Tampa, Florida.
Later, Sheena changed her job and started serving as a columnist and weather presenter. After an upgrade in a short while, she took over the role of chief weather forecaster. While at WTVT, she hosted the segment of the Sunday morning program, “Pet Adoption”. On the show, Sheena partnered with the Humane Society of Tampa Bay to report on numerous pet adoption issues.
Furthermore, she worked as a weather forecaster and meteorologist for NBC10 in Philadelphia from 2011 to December 2016. Throughout her career, Sheena has forecasted and also covered everything ranging from tornadoes to hurricanes to blizzards. Her most memorable weather event she covered was Hurricane Sandy, the strongest and the most destructive hurricane in 2012. In addition, Sheena covered the 2013 EF5 tornado that devastated an elementary school in Moore, Oklahoma.
