Ferguson began his career in the entertainment industry as a club DJ at The Palace Hotel Night Club in Lesotho in 1992. After returning to Botswana, his attention moved to the corporate sector, and he eventually found himself in the IT industry. He began his career as a salesperson and worked his way up to become a respected businessman, winning numerous accolades along the way, including the Top Sales Manager Award from 1998 to 2000.
He made his acting debut in the South African TV series Generations as Ace. In April 2006, he began acting as Dr. Leabua in the South African Venda soap opera Muvhango, for which he rose to fame. In March 2007, he quit the show. From 2011 to 2013, he starred as Itumeleng on M-soap Net’s drama The Wild.
Ferguson Films was founded by him and his wife Connie Ferguson, and they both starred in the first series of their production, Rockville. From 2013 to the show’s final episode in 2016, he played JB. He also starred in the Ferguson Films series The Gift, which premiered in 2014, and as Jerry Maake in The Queen, which premiered in 2016. Shona Ferguson Death
Ferguson was hospitalized at Pinehaven Hospital on June 26, 2021, with COVID-19. He was evacuated to Milpark Hospital in the middle of July when his condition deteriorated. He died of COVID-19-related problems on the afternoon of July 30, 2021, according to a statement posted on his Ferguson Films Instagram account. At the time of his death, he was 47 years old.
On August 4, 2021, he was laid to rest in the Fourways Memorial Park in a private burial. Due to South Africa’s level 3 lockdown laws, a memorial service in celebration of his legacy was held two days later, on August 6th, with an attendance of 50 people.
