After graduating, Steve moved to Moscow and spent the next 15 years at the Moscow State Technological University STANKIN teaching English. Rosenberg then secured work with CBS News in the network’s Moscow bureau and served six years as a translator, assistant producer, and producer. He was on the CBS crew covering the first war in Chechnya from 1994 to 1996.
