Immediately after high school, he joined DJ King Tech. The two performed at different San Francisco Bay Area clubs. Together, they released independent albums and later a major label record deal with Giant Records. They released an album, Concrete Jungle that got them the job of co-hosting their own show on radio station KMEL in 1990.
They released another album, Back 2 Basics on Sway and Tech’s own record label, Bolo Entertainment, and distributed by Universal Music in 2005.
