Tamara Sacharczyk is an eminent American anchor and reporter currently working at WJAR | NBC10 as an anchor where she anchors the station’s Weekend Sunrise.

She holds the “Feature Story,” award for her investigation into human trafficking, as well as the “Sport’s Feature Story,” award for her live reports from Houston that led up to the Patriot’s Super Bowl win.

Her investigative and anchoring reporting experience contributed to an Edward R. Murrow “Overall Excellence” award in 2018. During her free time, She enjoys reading, experimenting with new recipes as well as checking out the amazing restaurants in Rhode Island.

Tamara is as well actively involved in raising awareness for epilepsy. A condition that Tamara was diagnosed with while still a high school student. Currently, She serves on the board of the Epilepsy Foundation of New England apart from her career.

She has been serving for WJAR-TV as a Weekend morning anchor and special projects reporter since Oct 2019. Also, Tamara has been an Investigative reporter for WWLP for the last 8 years.

In Jul 2014,  She joined the station as a News Reporter/Fill-in anchor, a position she still holds. In Jul 2016, Sacharczk added another role of becoming an investigative reporter. From Dec 2017 to Oct 2019, she served as a Morning News Anchor/ Investigative Reporter for 22News.

Before that, Sacharcyk served at Red Bull in Greater Boston Area as a Wings Team Member from Mar 2012 to Jun 2014.  There, Tamara was in charge of creating marketing strategies, targeting new consumers, and also educating the Boston area about the benefits of Red Bul.

Before that, Sacharczyk served as an inter -News and Assignment Dest for WHDH-TV from May 2013 to May 2014. Tamara was also their Special Project intern from Dec 2013 to May 2014. From Aug 2013 to Dec 2013, She served at NBCUniversal, Inc based in Washington D.C. Metro Area as a General Assignment Intern.
