Thierry Henry Career
Thierry started to gain interest at the age of seven. Thierry Henry joined Monaco from his local club league CO Les Ulis. He signed for the Serie A Old Ladies, Juventus in 1994, and after 5 years of not enough playing time, moved to Arsenal FC in England for 11 million pounds. It was in Arsenal he became famous and a very productive striker.
He won all trophies in Arsenal except for the European Cup. In search of a European trophy, Henry moved to FC Barcelona in 2007, and in the season 2008/2009 he won the La Liga, Copa del Rey, and went on to win his first UEFA Champions League.
He moved to play for New York Red Bulls in Major League Soccer. In his international duty for France, he was part of the squad that won the 1998 FIFA World Cup, UEFA Euro 200, and 2003 FIFA Confederations Cup.
Thierry started coaching like many other footballers when he retired in 2010. He started with the Arsenal youth team in 2015. He was the assistant coach for the Belgium national team and later became the head coach for Monaco in 2018. After failing to win a couple of games he was sacked. He moved to coach Montreal in the MLS for about a year and departed.
In his club football career, he score 366 goals and played 813 games. For his International duty, he played in 123 cups and scored. Henry won Division 1 in 1996/1997 for Monaco. For Arsenal, he won two Premier League titles (2001/2002 and 2003/2004), two FA cups (2001/2002 and 2002/2003), and two FA Community Shields (2002, 2004).
In Barcelona, he won two La Liga Titles (2008/2009, 2009/2010, 1 Copa de Rey (2008/2009), Spanish Super Cup (2009), UEFA Champions League (2008/2009), UEFA Super Cup 2009, and FIFA Club World Cup 2019.
