Thom Brennaman is an eminent American television sportscaster. Brennaman joined Ohio University after graduating from Cincinnati’s Anderson High School in 1982.

While in college, Thom served for the Beta Theta Pi fraternity as the president of the Beta Kappa chapter.  While joining college, Brennaman was uncertain of whether to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a broadcaster.

He joined station WATH in Ohio which helped him develop his own love for radio. He graduated in 1986 from college and began working for the NBC affiliate, WLWT-TV in Cincinnati as a sports reporter/anchor.

During this same period, Brennaman, alongside Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Johnny Bench served as the television play-by-play announcer for the Cincinnati Reds.
