Thomas Ricks is an outstanding American author and journalist. Thomas specializes in the military as well as national security issues. He won the Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting twice as part of teams from the Washington Post in 2002 as well as the Wall Street Journal in 2000.
Thomas has covered military activities in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Haiti, Kosovo, Korea, Kuwait, Macedonia, Turkey, Somalia as well as Iraq. Earlier, he wrote a blog for Foreign Policy. Furthermore, Thomas is an active member of the Center for a defense policy think tank, New American Security.
