Tim served as a producer, cameraman, reporter, and anchor at Charter TV3 in Worcester, MA before joining WJAR-TV.

From October 2011 to June 2016, he edited, produced, shot, and wrote packages. He also photographed a number of college and high school sporting events. From October 2010 to November 2014, he also worked as a freelance reporter for Cox Sports Television. He worked as an associate producer on the Cox Sports Tip-Off and Post-Game broadcasts for Providence College and the University of Rhode Island Basketball teams.
