Tom is an ESPN college football analyst and the National Recruiting Director. Tom formerly worked for Scouts Inc., an NFL-based organization that was purchased by ESPN. Furthermore, he will be on the sidelines for either ESPN or ABC Saturday game.

He was a professional football coach before beginning his broadcasting career. Tom worked with professional football leagues such as AF2, XFL, the Arena Football League, and NFL Europe in this capacity. Furthermore, his first position as a coach was as a coaching assistant to his father with the Amsterdam Admirals from 1996 to 1997.

He eventually became the offensive coordinator and quarterback coach for the AFL’s New York CityHawks.
