As a true freshman, Jarrick saw immediate playing time totaling an interception, one forced fumble, two pass breakups, two sacks, 59 tackles, fifth-best on the team, and 13 appearances (nine of which he started). Jarrick posted an interception, 1.5 sacks, five pass breakups, and 54 tackles, including two for a loss the next year. In 2020, Jarrick tied for the team lead with seven pass breakups, started all 11 games, and recorded 32 tackles, leading all of Oklahoma State’s cornerbacks.
In 2021 Jarrick began all 14 games, and after leading the team with 11 pass breakups he was named first-team all-conference. In addition, Jarrick recorded 51 tackles on the year. In 2022 Jarrick shifted to LSU. With LSU, Jarrick began nine of 13 games, tallying two interceptions, 44 tackles, and three pass breakups.
The New York Jets drafted Jarrick in the sixth round (204th overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft on his 23rd birthday. Jarrick was put on the reserve/physically unable to perform list to begin the 2023 season. On October 24, 2023, Jarrick was activated. In Week 11 against the Buffalo Bills Jarrick made his NFL debut, and appeared on seven special teams snaps.
