Chris saw no action through the first eight games in 2017 as a true freshman at Virginia and opted to redshirt; therefore, that week, injuries allowed him to see action in practice on the first team and Chris then chose against redshirting. Chris played 13 games, at left guard, seven as a starter, and also saw action at right guard the following season.
Glaser played 14 games in 2019 and began 13 of them. Chris began all 10 games in 2020, being named honorable mention All-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Throughout his college career, he appeared in 54 games, 44 as a starter. The Kansas City Chiefs signed Chris as an undrafted free agent after going undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft.
